Redtooth recently ran the Punch National Quiz Competition in which over 400 Punch outlets from all corners of the UK took part in an eight week pub competition, then twenty regional finals and finally the top twenty teams at Aston Villa in order to crown the winner! – Here’s the video from the event. I’ve been working with those nice people at Kelham Island Museum in Sheffield on an event that is coming up as part of the Children’s Festival 2011. It’s called a Kelham Haunting and is a essentially a spooky after hours guided tour of the museum and some of it’s ghosts… cool or what! We’ve been busy boys and girl this weekend with three shows. Friday was an amazing night at the Harlequin, thanks to all who came along! On Saturday we played at Bateman’s Mill Hotel in Chesterfield which was a wonderful place and a great crowd too – then on Sunday we played during the afternoon at the Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet in Sheffield. I went to see Groanbox last night at the Redhouse in Sheffield. The Redhouse is an ace venue, nominated at the Great British Pub Awards last year too for best entertainment pub! (I was there – they were robbed!).
